The Hyundai HY2000SI with its 2.0kw rated AC output is the ideal portable petrol leisure generator for motorhomes, caravans, boats, tents or anywhere you need clean reliable power. With a maximum output of 2200w or 2.2kw you'll have more than enough to power your microwave, a small heater or even a hair dryer. When the load is low, for example powering a battery charger or lighting system the eco throttle system steps in and lowers the engine revs to just above tick-over which significantly lowers the noise level. As well as being quiet the eco throttle also helps with economy; at light load it is possible to get as much as 12 hours of run time from one of these machines.
Equipped with the latest in inverter technology, the AC output is the cleanest smoothest sinewave available allowing direct connection of even the most sensitive of electronic equipment or appliances.

Noise levels:
The industry standard for measuring noise of portable equipment has always been the decibel level at 7m. Recently the EU have stipulated that all machines must have the noise level measured at 1m using a sound pressure measuring device.
You will see that power equipment now has a square decal staing, for example 92bBA, this is the new sound presure measurement, which equates to approximately 58db @ 7m.
