SDMO
Founded
in 1966, SDMO is today the French market leader and the 3rd biggest player
worldwide in the generating set market: a major success for this group which
started out in Brittany, near Brest. SDMO Industries has three production sites
and employs nearly 850 people worldwide. SDMO made a turnover of 448
millions of euros in 2009 (more than 70% with export) and creates a local
activity of subcontracting for approximately 300 people.

SDMO
is a company that designs, manufactures and installs generating sets from 1
to 3025 kVA unitary power for its standard range of products.
One
generating set is the assembling of one diesel engine (as well as natural gaz or
fuel) and of one alternator, that will supply electric current.
Generating sets are mainly used in standby applications, i.e to make up for to
problems due to current cut-off. However it can also be used in isolated places
as the main source of current when the electrical network does not exist.
For
information, one 2000 kVA generating set can supply almost 250 households.
In
order to provide you with proof of reliability, SDMO has introduced a quality
